Bicester Heritage has revealed dates for the eagerly anticipated Classic & Sports Car Show in Association with Flywheel at Bicester Heritage – a new event bringing the best of historic motoring to the new home of the classic car.

Bicester will open its gates to thousands of enthusiasts from Saturday 23 – 24 June 2018 for the inaugural collaboration between Classic & Sports Car Show and Flywheel Festival.

Flywheel has been one of the automotive calendar’s must-see events since its debut showing in 2015, celebrating the very best of historic motoring and aviation in the perfect surroundings.

Bicester Heritage is a unique ecosystem of over 30 classic automotive businesses based at the picturesque 348-acre former WW2 RAF Bomber Training Station, with over 80% of the original buildings being restored for modern business use.

The site used its recent Sunday Scramble to reveal freshly restored buildings as part of its fourth phase of restoration as well as exciting plans for new businesses on site. When the Classic & Sports Car Show in Association with Flywheel at Bicester Heritage comes into town from 22-24 June, the fifth phase of restoration will be in full swing.

The Classic & Sports Car Show enjoyed a successful Alexandra Palace showing in 2017, with £30 million worth of classic cars coming to the London venue. Moving to Bicester Heritage and teaming up with Flywheel will allow the event to grow and benefit from the festival’s exemplary reputation and following.

The new collaboration will combine land and air demonstrations of cars and aircraft, as well as cars on display from private owners and collectors, not to mention classics dealers.

Classic & Sports Car Head of Content, Alastair Clements, said: “We look forward to welcoming readers and enthusiasts from across the UK and Europe to the fabulous Bicester Heritage for what promises to be a highlight of next summer for classic fans. We’re thrilled to be joining forces with one of the most exciting new events to join the classic calendar in recent years.”

Dan Geoghegan, Managing Director of Bicester Heritage, added: “Bicester Heritage is about the future of the past and has at its heart a vision to secure a robust and dynamic future for historic motoring for everyone who enjoys historic vehicles. Partnering with Haymarket – and building on our established relationship with Historic Promotions through Flywheel – provides a wonderful platform for us to create a new way to bring thousands of enthusiasts together in the enjoyment of historic vehicles.”

Advance ticket prices start from £23 per adult, £10 per child (5-15) and £55 per family. Entry for children under the age of five years is free, as is parking.
