Equipe GTS enjoyed a record 57 car entry for it’s Brands Hatch double header last weekend (April 29-30). To accommodate the extraordinary entry numbers, an two extra races were added to the weekend’s race programme.

Equipe GTS Partner John Pearson said: “Four races in a weekend is a first for us, we ran some full and exciting grids last year but this year we are currently running 40% up. We are looking to get extra races at our existing events where we can, in order not to disappoint any of our competitors.”

The Brands Hatch weekend saw really close racing with the grids split into A & B categories depending on previous lap times. Equipe GTS Partner Rob Cull said: “This format worked really well with each grid competing against closely matched competition.”

Tim Smith (MGB Roadster) won both races in the Equipe Group A grid, whilst Tim Greenhille (MGB Roadster) and David Griffiths (Triumph TR4) won a race each in the Equipe Group B runners. For full results click here
