Results of the Classicagh Rally Isle of Man which concluded on Sunday afternoon in Douglas, are as follows; Reigning MSA British Historic Champions Jason Pritchard/Phil Clarke (MkII Ford Escort) helped their defence of the title by scoring maximum points on each of the available days en route to category victory.
Will Onions/Jamie Edwardswere in the vanguard throughout and inherited second place when Ryan Barret/Paul McCann hit oil cooler issues and were forced out two stages from the end. Ryan’s brother Paul, current BHRC leader, and Dai Roberts claimed third to keep their title hopes alive.
Meirion Evans/iestyn Williams crashed their MkII Ford Escort out of the lead of the National category on the second stage of the day, as Donnie MacDonald/Andrew Falconer (Mitsubishi Evo 9) claimed a lead that they held to the end.
Eurocars Motorsport Manx Rally Championship leaders Daniel Harper/Chris Campbell (BMW Mini Cooper S) scored a second set of maximum points for the weekend ins second, with Shaun Sinclair/Neil Shanks (Evo X) third.
Leading locals were Will Heavey/Joe Dooley (Evo 6) who completed in 16th overall.
