We don’t feature many modern cars but this one stands out, I noticed recently SLS models now dropping below the £100K price bracket. This car surely is set to be a future classic?

The original SLS ‘s famously finished 2nd and 4th in the 1952 Mille Miglia and won Le Mans 24hr. An iconic 200 mph car, I remember them whizzing by in the 2008 Mille Miglia when James Martin and I were broken down at the side of the road just outside Verona!

I recently had the pleasure of driving one of these beasts for a weekend you can read my write up on the roadtest here. Big grin just does not cover it, this kind of driving pleasure is rare, a potential licence threat and now you can buy it for under £100K!  Madness. But one I would be first in the queue for.
