Season Closing Sunday Scramble

Season-closing Sunday Scramble saw Bicester Heritage welcome the Mayor of Bicester and his wife – Les and Mary Sibley – to the historic motoring community on 1 October

Bicester Heritage Managing Director Dan Geoghegan greeted the Mayor and his wife and gave them a tour of the former RAF Bicester site, which was a hive of activity with over 30 specialist businesses throwing open their doors and revealing a rare selection of motor cars

The Mayor was in the company of over 3,000 vintage motoring enthusiasts and over 1,000 cars spanning a century of automotive history. Associated car clubs attended in high numbers, too.

The Wriggly Monkey Brewery unveiled exciting plans to start brewing at their new facility at Bicester Heritage in Spring 2018.

Bicester Heritage revealed freshly restored buildings from the fourth phase of restoration, most notably the UK’s best-preserved example of an RAF Motor Transport Yard.

Auto Wax Works opened the doors of their new premises, giving guests an insight into their superb car detailing, paint protection and correction workshops.

Hagerty International once again hosted a live Valuation Arena, while the Tiger 9 team ensured lovers of wheels and wings were catered for

The Royal Automobile Club supported the event once more with their Pit-Stop catering truck which was a must visit for a tasty breakfast roll
