Two new 1000 km classic rallies launched

Renowned for such long distance challenges as the Maya Classic Rally and Great Amazon Adventure, Bespoke Rallies has now further broadened its portfolio with the launch of a pair of exciting 1000km competition events – one in Scotland and one in the Pyrenees.

The Highland 1000 (May 18-21, 2018)

Suitable for all skill levels, this four day contest starts and finishes in Falkirk, at the home of the unique Falkirk Wheel, and winds its way through some of Scotland’s finest scenery, taking in much of the famed North Coast 500 and numerous familiar landmarks en route. The emphasis is on fun, and the regularity tests will be run on quiet, often deserted, roads. The main entry will be split into six classes, which between them cater for cars built from 1920 right through to 1980, while there is a Touring one for those that would prefer an even more relaxed drive.

The Pyrenees 1000 (September 13-16, 2018)

Structured in much the same way as its Scottish equivalent, the Pyrenees 1000 will start and finish in the famous bull-running town of Pamplona, and pass from France into Andorra before spending the third night near the fortified historic town of Pau. The four day drive will take in some of Europe’s most picturesque mountain panoramas.

Other great events already scheduled by Bespoke Rallies include:

Cuba Classic Rally – January 2018

The 3rd Maya Classic Rally – February 2018

The Grand Prix of South America – October 2018

Wild Borneo – May 2019

Magical Madagascar – June 2019

Further details of everything on offer from this pioneering rally organiser are available at www.bespokerallies.com, while those attending the Goodwood Revival meeting (September 8-10) have the opportunity to chat to the team direct on Stand 191, that’s located near the Bonhams auction site.
